1995 Ford Fiesta Ghia from UK and Ireland - Comments

"A deceivingly rapid little wolf in sheep's clothing"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The drivers electric window has just failed, but it is probably just jammed and can be easily fixed.

The passenger door will not unlock with the key, but it will lock, I think this is due to vandalism.

The sun-visor drops annoyingly when you hit a bump.

The starter motor is beginning to go now at 72000 miles, although it starts first time nine time out of ten.

General comments?

I prefer the design of this model fiesta than the softer curved current (2003) model.

The power of the 1600cc bullet proof injection engine is enough to see off a swarm of GT-i's at the lights. You can cruise on the motorway without fearing steep hills or being forced behind convoys of slow moving loaders.

However, as with all small hatchbacks, the boot is small and the comfort fairly limited. I have owned a 1995 Fiesta SI which has better seats than the Ghia.

Is this car standard if so how does it keep up with any gti especially off the mark I would have thougt the fiesta would be the one left standing.
