General Comments:

The list for what has went wrong with the car is incomplete. There has been so many problems with this car. There is very little performance, its like having a gerbil on a wheel under the hood. Too much maintenance that always has to be done. My father told me when I bought this car, that I would get some serious experience with Ford and its cars. Man, was he ever right, every week, its something new. The car has a horrible suspension system for example handling corners, well, it just doesn't happen. This car, is not worth anyones time or money, go buy a real car, a GM.

I seriously doubt that you experienced all of the problems that you say you have encountered. If you like GM cars so much, then why don't you buy one, and quit running your mouth and whining about your foolish mistakes; because no-one cares.

I think there is a production lines belief that in 100 produced cars there will be one which is not worth even a shilling.. Such cars are bad frustrating and a total disappointment. I guess you got ur hands on one such car.. It happened with me with Yamaha bike some years ago.. But I still agree Yamaha makes good sports bikes.

1994 Ford Tempo GL 2.3 from North America

Summary:

It is a fast and fun car

Faults:

Little stuff like a thermostat. Wrecked it too. Minor damage fixed and repainted.

General Comments:

My car is fast for a Tempo. As of right now it is straight pipe with a Thrust Turbo Muffler on it. It also has Plat. plugs number #2. It will be taking on a new Air intake filter to increase horsepower.

The Tempo is a fantastic little car. The Tempo is sporty to drive but cheap to own too.

1994 Ford Tempo GL 4 Cylinder from North America

Summary:

A great car that performs as well as it looks.

Faults:

Nothing has really gone wrong with the car. Someone tried to break into it and in the process bent the door and ripped of some plastic paneling, but the factory locks held up to the thief's attempt to get in.

General Comments:

This car is awesome!

It has great acceleration for only a 4 cylinder. I added a performance chip that added about 34 horse power, so that might be the main reason I think my car has great acceleration. It goes 0 to 60 miles per hour in 10.2 seconds.

It is extremely easy to find parts for this car. After the break in, I was on the phone and had parts available at four different automotive stores within 30 minutes of my town.

The only real downfall is the speaker system. Because Ford wanted to make it difficult to replace their paper cone speakers, there aren't many speaker brands that have 5"x7" speakers. But I did find them and am now running a Sony Xplod system.
