1992 Geo Metro review from North America
"Best car of the 20+ I've ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Usual stuff. A water pump at 120,000 miles, and a transmission flush at 125,000.
Seats have become flatened (duh!).
Otherwise, just brakes and oil changes.
General comments?
IMPORTANT! Do yuor own oil changes, if possible, and use only synthetic or semi-synthetic oil. It makes a huge difference in engine noise and smoother running.
El Cheapo Wal-Mart 155X12 tires are fine for the Northwest weather, wet and warm.
My son was 4 when we bought the car, and hopes to pass it on to his kids.
