Since purchasing the car I have had virtually no problems with it.
This car has performed flawlessly. The only money I have spent is for tires, brakes, gas and the recommended timing belt change at 100K miles and one battery. As I am able to do my own work the only cost has been parts.
With a 5 speed, leather, firm suspension, and good handling I call it the working man's BMW. At the same time it has been a great commuter and family car.
I taught 4 daughters how to use a stick shift and I still have the original clutch. It has to last 2 more years until I get them through college and then it will be replaced. The new car choice will be simple. Another Honda or an Acura TL.
It's very rare to find a Honda Accord with a 5 speed/leather combo I can tell you that much.
Just purchased, and yes very rare for an ex 4 cyl 5 spd manual tranny. The reason I went with the manual - love the stick and don't want a failed auto tranny...
Great car! Great mpg.
