1998 Honda Accord EX V6 review from North America
"Has quite a kick...but"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator replaced at 82,000 miles
Sensor replaced at 90,000 miles
Battery replaced at 89,000 miles
Passenger power window 85,000 miles - I read everywhere that the power window parts in Honda are very fragile and need to be replaced often in the car's lifetime.
CD player will not play burned CDS.
Air conditioner is very noisy.
General comments?
Okay yes I bought this car used. But it's a Honda right? I expected it to be more reliable and have less need for replacements part than did my old 93 Mazda MX6. Unfortunately I saved more money on repairs with the used Mazda then with the Honda. The Honda is a noisy ride, the stock sound system is not powerful at all. At least the car has some kick.
