2006 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"This car is best in it's class for overall value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong as of yet, but given my overall luck with vehicles, this will be a challenge to see if Honda is the car everyone thinks it is.
General comments?
This car has awesome styling both inside and out. I have drivn many different kinds of vehicles over the years, but never has a four door sedan garnered the type of attention this thing gets wherever I go.
It will accommodate many different sizes of people comfortably, especially for it's size. The big plus here is that the steering wheel telescopes as well as tilts allowing even a long legged individual to comfortably operate the vehicle. All of the controls are easy to reach and understand.
It handles like a 5-series BMW, but gets twice the gas mileage. The steering is very quick- something new this year is that the steering is only 2.6 turns lock to lock, so it is very sensitive- especially at highway speeds.
The ride is firm, and the four wheel disc brakes are fade free even in the mountainous region where I drive.
