Bought the car in summer and didn't find any problem. But 5 months later found noisy window when window closed also dealer said front shock and stablizer linkage need to be replaced due to weak on right front side. When bought the car,dealer said the car kilometer a little high if it is silver certified for extra money they will check the car entirely and will replace some parts if they think necessary. Then bought it thinking nothing to worry about.
The fact is that I had to pay the expense to get them fixed because they said the problem is not covered by their warranty even speak to the president. Honda silver certified should not get this problem only after 5 months driving.
Car has good reputation, but service need to be improved. When purchase should be careful with their warranty, no necessary to buy any additional warranty because most of the parts are not covered, and they do not give any specific list.
It's your fault, you want what everyone thinks is a fast car. The Honda Civic is popular, but also more likely to be seen in a crash than a Toyota or Nissan. A small accident can cause a lot of damage to a Civic. This leads to high r4epair costs. Now I see that service is also a problem. Popularity and following the crowd always has a price!
