Front drivers side door doesn't stay open.
Clock light out.
Sliding door problems come and go, never had it come open when driving.
Door seals coming out in places.
I have been very satisfied with our 2000 Honda Odyssey, except a few problems. My main concern now is the fact that the drivers front door won't stay open. I have had many times on flat surfaces that the door has closed on my leg, foot, or slammed into my elbow. It was a concern in the beginning that it closed so easily, but it has even gotten worse. My brother has the same year/model and he has the same problem. I'm surprised that they haven't been sued for this problem. It hurts when it shuts on me and I know to try to avoid it. Does anyone else have the same problem?
I've got the same problem with my 2000 EX, except that it's both driver and passenger side doors. The service place where I bought took a look at the various parts that make up the door stop and supposedly everything was functioning and they couldn't figure out why they didn't stay open. I have 2 young children and I'm terrified that the door will close on their heads, it's very heavy! I probably will end up taking it into the dealer and see what they say.
I have the same 'closing door' problem. My dealer said that the problem caused by worn pressure rollers could be fixed only by replacing the whole assembly for around $125 each - involves removing the interior door panel.
