I have a 11/92 Honda Prelude 2.3 h23a. In the past 2 years, have gone through 5 distributors. My original would cut out when hot, start cold. The 4 others are after market, and have died within 20 minutes of putting in, only 1 lasted approx 8 months. Have checked alternator output, 14v, not overcharging. Can you help me at corypaidel@hotmail.com

I bought a clean 93 Prelude VTEC last September; the same (minus the VIN) car I sold 12 years ago. I'm loving it as a daily driver and will be hitting the big 200,000 mile mark shortly. Any updates on how long your motors have held out? This thing still feels super solid.

To the stock comment, the prelude VTEC is my favorite car. I wish I could find a red one with a spoiler. I wonder if the stock VTEC Prelude can beat the stock Integra VTEC? Oh I wish I could beat my brothers EVO MR one day.

No, it won't work, you need to make sure it's a VTEC distributor. I just went thru getting one for my car, which is a 93 2.2 VTEC. You can get it from a 92 or 93-95 only I was told.

I have a 93 Prelude and I'm having the same problems as you with the 4WS!!!

Like you described when the light is on, no 4WS until the light goes off. I used to be able to shut off the engine and restart, and the light would go off. Lately the light wants to stay on. I was wondering since your last post if you had obtained any helpful info on this problem? I would appreciate any helpful advice!!!

Thanks, Rengade.

I had the same problem. Take the cover to the fuse box under the hood off LOL; that worked for me... I'm guessing I need to replace my relay/fuse.
