2003 Hyundai Tiburon SE review from North America
"Terrible- Everything has gone wrong with this car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
All the items below were replaced because they were broken or not working properly. I have done every regular service for this car since I bought it new and have never been in an accident.
Week 1- Air conditioning system replaced.
Week 3- Inside panel of the hatchback tore and was replaced.
30,000 kms- Power steering pump was replaced.
35,000 kms- The motor to power the driver's side window was replaced.
35,000 kms- Front headlight wiring fixed.
50,000 kms- Signal lights stopped working. Replaced Body Control Module.
55,000 kms- Lock actuator replaced.
75,000 kms- Keyless remote stopped working.
Current unfixed problems- The wiring to the windshield wipers does not properly control the speed anymore. The chassis and strut mounts rattle and need to be replaced. The motor for the passenger side window needs to be replaced. Keyless entry no longer works.
General comments?
This car drives well, but that is all it does well. I would never recommend this car to anyone. It has cost me thousands of dollars in repairs.
