1995 Land Rover Discovery TDi review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blown turbo.
Broken suspension.
Cracked chassis.
Windscreen fell off!
Electrics.
General comments?
This car may be fine for going to Sainsbury's, but try using one in a real off-road environment!
I used one in Kenya for over a year, and then abandoned it for a 1986 FJ60 Landcruiser (indestructable).
In Africa we have the worst road conditions in the world. Take it from me, the Landy may look nice, but it just does not measure up. Over-complex, sloppily built, impossible to fix without a PHD.
