2001 Nissan Sentra XE review from North America
"Great car for a college student with lower income"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My transmission has a small grinding in third gear, but does not effect the performance. I talked to a local transmission expert, and he said it was a sync, and that it is so minor it will be a long while before it needs to be repaired, and the total cost of the repair would be around 600.
General comments?
Consistently getting 32 mpg around my town driving; 6 miles to and from work, and 10 miles to school.
It is a very fun car to drive with good pick up for such a small car.
Only money put into it is to maintain it, oil changes, brakes and stuff like that.
It is a pretty comfortable car for a compact, and the A/C is very cold.
Soft ride and very good turning radius. Very nimble and easy to maneuver.
