1994 Oldsmobile Achieva V6 from North America

Summary:

Great all over and amazing for me

Faults:

I have had a couple of little things go wrong I have had the head gasket blew at about 75000 miles and the ignition switch quit working yesterday, but it's a simple fix.

General Comments:

I like this car mainly for its fast acceleration for races because I'm in high school.

I also like the room trunk for-all my books and things.

I like the cabin of the car is roomy for the passengers.

The main thing I like is the reliability of the car it will most definitely get you from a to b.

1994 Oldsmobile Achieva S 4 cylinder from North America

Summary:

Nice car

Faults:

The blinkers are giving me issues. One time the left blinker will not blink, just light up and stay that way, then the next time the right one will do it, but the left blinker will start working right. Which ever one is staying on (and not blinking) the other one will blink like it's supposed to. Then all of sudden they both will start working. Is this a fuse? Also, the cruise doesn't work...I'm wondering how to get both of these items fixed. Any assistance or response will be appreciated.

General Comments:

I've only had a short time, but love it. It rides really well and performs great. I drive 100 miles a day... looks like it is good on gas.

1994 Oldsmobile Achieva from North America

Summary:

GREAT car, for your mom!

Faults:

I can’t find the button that the door hits that turns off the interior lights. The light will not turn off when the door closes, resulting in many dead batteries. So I disconnected the fuse for the interior light, but that also is fuse for the “you left you lights on” warning noise, which also leads too many dead batteries. Can anyone help!!-daveywaveys@hotmail.com.

General Comments:

Good car, otherwise.

Maybe your dome (interior) feature is on. In other words, when you adjust the brightness of your dashboard, there is a way to click the the dial so the interior lights stay on. You would have to check this when the doors are closed.

You have to start the car hit the brake three times then shut the car off. Then disconnect the battery for an hour. After that connect the battery and start the car and adjust the dash lights and your all set.

Hello, I am 15 and I just bought a 1994. It's real nice, I like it a lot. The only problems I've had are with the HEAD GASKET, which is replaced now, and the ignition switch, which I ordered today.

I like the fast acceleration, though it's fast up against other high schoolers cars.
