1991 Peugeot 205 junior review from UK and Ireland
"Absolutely Amazing!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Petrol filter became blocked at 65,000 miles.
Brake pads replaced after 70,000.
Clutch is very high.
Dents very easily.
Uses alot of water and oil.
General comments?
The seats are very comfortable!
I had this as a first car and it has lasted me well, it has (touch wood) so far only given up on me once due to the petrol filter becoming blocked and clogged up with gunk from the tank.
This car is wonderful and has received many dents and prangs, but keeps on going.
I would highly recommend that someone looking for a first car think or look in to investing a 205.
For a 1.1 these 205s are really nippy and I have taken it on town driving, country driving and even motorway and it hasn't failed me yet!
I will definitely be keepig this car until the end of its life before I invest in another Peugeot!
