The paint on my car is peeling off.MAD.

Trunk seal no good, found water pool in spare tire well.

Rear bumper bracket's rusting.

Body side rails rusting.

I would agree that the air conditioner sucks!,

1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE 3.3L V6 from North America

Summary:

Great little car with tonnes of torque, just for fun!!!

Faults:

Air conditioning hardly works.

Had to replace the transmission.

Rear passenger power window has a mind of it's own, it goes up only when it feels like it.

General Comments:

Handles awesome with wider tires.

Ridiculous amounts of torque, even at low RPM's.

Pretty quick little car, it pulls strong.

Had to replace the tranny, but previous owners never took care of it, and they gave me the car so I can't complain!

Ugly blue color, but stealth to the cops.

Stupid teenagers in their little Honda Accords, and Civics never see it coming, a "gay" blue Grand Am knocking their socks off!!!

General Comments:

The car moves fairly quick and it is somewhat reliable on gas. The seats are very comfortable and the factor speakers are excellent. The car was designed poorly so rust occurs at the wheel wells and the trunk. Some people have good luck with these cars; I'm not one of those people.

I feel the owner of this car just had a bad one. I have a 92 Grand Am SE and the only thing that went worng with it was the radiator and I use the car over 300 miles a day.

The MAP sensor costs about $30 for the part. If someone charged $420 to install it they got robbed!
