1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE Coupe 3.1 from North America

Summary:

It's the small things that go wrong with the car that push you over the edge of sanity

Faults:

Leak in the trunk.

Power antenna died.

Condensation in the brake lamp covers.

Hinge on the center console lid cracked.

Radio/temp knob crumbled in my hand.

Sometimes the ignition will read the key, sometimes it won't - this problem seems to bring out the best in me, repairs cost have been quoted as high as $1500 to fix... I don't think so!

Oh yeah, almost forgot, one year after owning the vehicle I found out it had been in a minor front end crash... if only we had time machines.

General Comments:

I can't wait for the following:

1. Sell it

2. Trade it in

3. Someone steals it

4. Act of God

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix Special Edition 3.1 V6 from North America

Summary:

Luxurious, sporty and a flashy ride!!

Faults:

Replaced the idling sensor, tie rods, exhaust system, throttle body sensor, and the ignition switch.

The knob to turn on the heater just cracked right off (haven't had the chance to replace it yet).

General Comments:

I love my Grand Prix. It is my first car. I plan on buying a 98 GTP next.

It's very nice, but I wish it had more pickup.

I really went all out on it with everything from the headlight covers, to a bunch of pinstripping, to a pair of 15" subwoofers. WHAT A RIDE!!

Summary:

Okay

Faults:

Have replaced brakes numerous times, rear wheel bearings, tire-rod ends, gas pedal cable and just recently lost the transmission.

General Comments:

Overall it has been a dependable vehicle, but I didn't expect to have problems with the transmission so soon.

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE from North America

Summary:

A good, steady, dependable car for every age

Faults:

Interior integrity has declined (paint wears off, knobs for A.C. and radio falling off).

General Comments:

Like the car, want a newer model.

The steering wheel radio controls have prevented wrecks, I am sure :)
