1995 Pontiac Sunfire review from North America
"Beware!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
-Thermostat.
-Head Gasket failure.
-Power window (driver's side)
-Fan control unit.
-A/C compressor.
-Fuel Pump.
-Coolant housing pipe cracked.
General comments?
A cheaply made commuter vehicle that will drain your wallet rather than save you money.
I had the car for approx. 1 year, and I had all of the above problems occur. The car ended up dying on the side of the road while on a camping trip. The car was towed to the junkyard for $25.
When it runs, it runs OK. Fuel consumption is decent, but not great. I usually got around 10L/100KM.
