Window regulator gone. Very very common problem on these. £300.

Hi, yeah, your problem is the plastic bracket that hold your glass to the regulator. You can buy these on ebay for £12.

RENAULT SCENIC Expression Y reg. A variation on the wiper issue. When the footbrake is applied the rear wiper creeps arthritically across the screen and the heated rear window amber dash light flickers. When you select heated rear window the rear wiper operates normally (if you get my drift!). Sadly there is no large connector in the drivers footwell as per the earlier solution, but I am hoping it is still an earthing problem. Any ideas guys?

I've heard loads of people talking about the 'earth strap' or 'earth wire' on some sites, but despite trawling the web for hours I can't find any instruction on where the thing is or what it should look like! (Is this just me being dumb?)

I'm almost positive my prob is a loose earth wire somewhere, but don't know where to start looking for it.

Directions please?

Have intermittent starting problem with a recently purchased 2003 1.6 Megane saloon. Starts fine but occasionally cuts out when cold when the revs reduce when changing gear or idling in traffic. When warmed up the problem disappears. Sometimes the engine is noisy for a few seconds when starting. Accelerator seems to be quite sensitive. Needless to say, nothing shows on garage diagnostics. Any help would be appreciated.

Coolant sensor, camshaft position sensor, throttle body (just needs cleaning) or if you're unlucky the dephaser pulley (very common fault and approx £600)
