1998 Saturn SL SL1 review from North America
"Good customer service at corporate level, poor service with the dealership"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In the shop today to replace the fuel injectors for the 5th time. The first three occurred in the first 9 months. The last two have happened in the last 3 months. Had to replace the steering rack once, oxygen sensors a few times, coil packs, window fell off track. Biggest concern is the inconvenience of the fuel injectors and the amount of times they've had to replace them.
General comments?
Called the corporate office for help after the third situation and they offered to extend my warranty to 100K miles (good faith offer). This would void any chances for lemon law. I accepted and at 60K miles I'm still having problems. I'd recommend Saturn only because of the customer service I received from the corporate office, but won't buy one again because of the dealership itself.
