1985 Toyota Celica GT review from North America
"It's fast, reliable, good-looking, and a bargain to obtain and maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The oil pan gaskets disintegrated. I assume they were the ones which came with the car originally by the way they looked. But once these were replace the car no longer leaked.
I also had to replace the exhaust system as soon as I got it. Because it also had the original muffler.
The body looks like it's had a rough life. I myself have been in 3 accidents in her. She's my first car.
General comments?
Even as banged up and dented as she appears. The '85 Toyota Celica GT is a performer to the full extent of the word. I do not know what else has been replaced on this car before me, as I bought it very used. However, the gas mileage is still great on this car, and it still manages to beat most of the newer 4-cylinder vehicles on the road. An amazing car all around.
