1994 Toyota Supra Targa review from North America
"The most beautiful, fun, fast, expensive, and favorite car you'll ever own"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/C was not working when I bought the car (but who cares, it's a supra :)
Started failed at about 140,xxx miles.
Valve stem seals on the head need to be replaced (common issue)
Water pump had to be changed at about 146,xxx miles.
General comments?
Wow, what a beautiful car. You can't keep it from turning heads wherever you go. Put some custom wheels on it and it's a sight to behold.
The car is super fast right out of the box. Mine was bone stock when I bought it (it's got a couple small mods now) but definitely not a good car for a novice driver. Loads of power, still faster than most new sports cars.
Can be expensive on repairs (but what supercar isn't) They are getting old, so chances are things are going to break. Keep in mind the car is very reliable though.
Can be very pricey to purchase.
