Button for automatic driver window got stuck.
Fuel tank door would not shut and lock.
Brakes scraping October 2002.
Air conditioner squeaks.
Air bag light stays on at all times.
Paint peels off door handles.
Numbers wearing off on radio buttons.
Gear shift peeling.
Car jerks from time to time.
Car handles good.
However it is very uncomfortable and not enough light from the console.
Hello, my name is Tisa and I completely sympathize with the problems concerning the 2000 Beetle. My air has died and I live in Florida and it is hot!!! I have made many mistakes in life, but the most regretful of all is buying this bug. I'm actually considering a class action lawsuit for selling such a lemon of a car!
