We own a 2002 Laguna V6 Initiale and it's the most reliable car I've ever had, 47k miles and it still runs like the day I drove it out of the dealership, I'm surprised that all the electronic gadgets work and the engine is still quiet as a mouse, I really love this car, it looks like it will last forever so I disagree with people bashing Renault, they did a good job with this car

Seems the Laguna's have some major electrical/electronic problems ... I must admit I have had some glitches as well, but they have all been sorted quickly and efficiently by the local Renault dealer

I have an '02 Laguna Privilege (also 3.0l V6) ... Take it to your Renault dealer (mine has the equipment in house) and the problem disappears
