I owned one (1993 Nissan Laurel Altima GTS-R) from 1993-2002 ... The last set of these cars were registered in 2001 I believe, but there are RB20 Cefiro's that are in the country unregistered

I'm sorry you got possibly a bad one, but ours (2001, same model before the 2002 change) has been awesome, 11 years and still going strong ... Nissan got this one right, and there are some problems in the bunch as with every car, but the Altima around this time frame, according to numerous surveys, are great cars
