1992 Dodge Dakota LE Club Cab from North America - Comments

"This is the best light truck...ever!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The speedometer went out.

The paint on and near the roof peeled.

The fuel pump broke and a leak occurred in the fuel line.

The catalytic converter blew.

The PVC valve had to be replaced twice.

General comments?

This is the best truck we have ever owned.

It is much roomier than S-10's and Rangers.

It's function in indispensable.

It is quick, comfortable, and fun to drive.

It can still burn rubber on dry pavement, even with the big all terrain tires.

It is a great looking truck you can be proud of.

It has 215000 miles on it and it is still the most dependable vehicle we have ever owned.

You can't kill this truck, after over 10 years 200k miles it still shifts smoothly, and runs and drives like a dream.

Our neighbors have a Dakota similar to ours with even more miles and they are just as pleased as we are.

"The PVC valve had to be replaced twice."

This is a normal tuneup item every 15K miles. Do you mean the EGR valve, by any chance? If so, that is usually damaged by a clogged catalytic converter.
