Transmission replaced at 57000 miles.
Power steering pump replaced 3 times before the rack and pinion finally needed replaced.
Have gone through 2 alternators.
Door locks have fallen into the doors on more than one occasion.
Have replaced both window motors twice.
Door locks no longer work at all.
All interior panels keep coming loose or are rattling badly.
The car has more than its share of faults, but I do like the style and the power it has. Although I do hate having to fork out tons of money on it every time I turn around.
I disagree with your comment of the Achieva being trash. I have had a 1995 Oldsmobile Achieva S for 6 years now. Yes the power steering is out and the door needs to be
re-aligned with the door. Plus the gas tank has been crushed and the ignition switch is a piece of junk, but it gets me places safely and it is still reliable with 165,000 miles on it. SO if you are going to bash the Achieva, do research on it and listen to other stories before you bash it. Yours may have been a piece of junk, BUT mine and a lot of others aren't.
This car is the best; it's fast and has a lot of power. Even though I have had to replace the transmission, and it has a slow radiator fluid leak.
