Stalling, fluttering gas petal, hesitation, transmission, shifting problems, stereo problems, computer problems, throttle body, transmission computer.
This car has been in the dealers shop a total of 11 times.
Gm did buy the car back!
I bought a 2006 Malibu.
Hi
I have problems with my Chevrolet Epica LT 2004 sold here in the Middle East.
It starts to produce black smoke at start up.
I called the dealer and they replaced Injectors, Fuel pump, and reprogrammed the CPU.
The problem disappeared by 90% but still there.
The air was leaking past the doors, there was noise from the engine and vibration in the steering. All those were fixed.
Keeping in mind that its not the only piece sold in Jordan, the company refused to give me another one and GM technical advisor insisted that the problem is with the Jordanial local conditions e.g. fuel type, altitudes and low morning temperature!!! but refused to answer why this car only is
developing this stuff of troubles.
Please suggest at me what to do.
Best regards
Jehad

I have a fluttering gas paddle too. I brought it back to the dealership (while under warranty) and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I bet if I brought it back now, they would find something to be replaced! Also having problems with the ignition cylinder, wheel bearings, rotors, and the passenger seatbelt ALWAYS locks (the dealership said there was nothing wrong with that too.
