Second to last post- check your cooling fans- there is a connector at the bottom of the fans that has two plugs on it. I had this plug go bad on my first vision.
I have a 1993 Eagle Vison and I have had it over a year
and had no problems the only problem I have now is the
car will shut off when I am driving it and if I let it
sit for a day it will start again and I took it to
the shop and they said that it was the pcm or a wire
was shorting out I just want to know if any one has had the same problem thanks Mark

I do have the problem of 1996 Eagle Vision TSi just shutting off. It started a few years ago, just once, and the dealer couldn't find anything wrong with it. In the last couple of years, anytime the outside temperature gets above about 95 degrees Fahrenheit it will just quit. No overheating, low oil pressure, nothing. This last fall, the car wouldn't even go up a hill and I had the catalytic converters replaced. Thought that would solve everything, but just in the last couple of weeks it stalled out again at 97 degrees. Took it in to the dealer for a tune up, fuel filter replacement and oil change, found a slight oil leak into one of the cylinders needed the head gasket replaced. I had the crankshaft and camshaft sensors on order, but they weren't in yet. I thought it was over, but on the way home from the shop it stalled again. 107 degrees outside temperature. When the sensors come in, I will replace them, but will this be the answer?? I don't know.
My name is Tahtsu and I wrote the entry for 5/11/07 (13:30). Since writing that comment, my windshield has been replaced and I have driven to Harrison, MI from Wakefield, NH and back again... 928.24 miles from NH to MI and 927.29 miles from MI to NH. I just wanted to say that I love Noel WAY more than I did before, I got my directions on-line and they took me through Canada, the last 20 miles or so through Canada my gas light came on and I thought for sure that I was going to run out of gas and be stuck in Canada for awhile, I made it to the Canada/Michigan border (about 25 miles from the time the gas light came on), but I also made it another 55 miles after that before getting gas... a total of 80 miles after the gas light came on... I LOVE MY CAR :D
The only problem that I have with Noel right now is the fact that I still have no antenna and I still have no lights on the cd player LCD, but it's all good, because my car is AWESOME and I love her :D.
Tahtsu again, just wanted to mention that I've driven to Harrison, MI from Wakefield, NH again (for one of the last times - I have to go back to NH in December and I'm driving there and back again - I'll let you know if Noel makes it those times too), she's still doing pretty darn good, except for when I got back from MI the first time she had developed a power steering fluid leak, but I think that was caused by someone not the drive. Her blower motor died recently, but I'm getting that fixed this weekend, and I think one of her pulleys isn't working correctly, but that's going to be looked at too, I STILL love my car :D.
I have a 1995 eagle vision v6 problem and can't find out what it is. when I start going it will get stuck in 2nd and 3rd gear and will not shift until I shut it off and start it again. that fixes the problem sometimes other times it doesn't.If you know what the problem is will you let me know. I am tired of spending money on it and not fixing the problem.
My vision has 240,000K on it, with the original engine and transaxle. It's been very reliable and hardly anything has been replaced. Although, at 15 years old it now needs some new struts and tie rods. I'm torn between getting rid of it or fixing the front end.
