1986 Pontiac Parisienne review from North America
"Good car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We have had to replace the air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, distributor cap, and now I think the starter is going out. We replaced the wiper blades and the fan motor 2 times. The rear lights have been replaced the 3rd back light won't fix and the front headlights are aimed sortof crooked and they cannot be fixed. The radio speakers don't work at all on one side unless you go over a bump. It looks sortof rough and rides smooth, but it is very loud due to the exhaust pipes being re hung many times and so about everything that can be replaced on the car has been replaced and it has a horrible oil leak. We have to put oil in it about every other day now, but the car is amazing still on the road!!! The interior is pretty rough, but not totally yet. I would buy another pontiac because this car seems to be OK after the replacements are taken care of. I think the gaskets were replaced and now one side of the hood doesn't stay up when you pop the hood so we use a stick. I can't remember what else has been replaced, but probably everything at one time or another. email vflgirl@yahoo.com.
