1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue review from North America
"Best car I have ever owned; very solid"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Torque module for transmission at 50,000, $80 Plus labor
Anti Lock Brakes went out at 78,000 Did not repair for $700 plus (I can pump them if needed)
Running light socket (short) and bulb for about $30 (extremely easy to replace)
General comments?
Most solid car I have owned. With over 205,000 miles, I still don't have any rattles in the car.
Maintenance:
change oil & filter religiously every 3000 - 4000 miles;
Air Filter every 25-35,000 miles;
Replace brakes every 100,000 miles; Tires every 98,000 miles;
spark plug and wires at 150,000 miles; transmission fluid at 150,000 miles; coolant at 150,000 miles;
Belt at 150,000 miles;
Fuel filter at 200,000 miles
I'm hoping to get 300,000 from my baby, when it will be ready for the next round of major maintenance. Leather drivers seat beginning to crack and show signs of wear.
