What things have gone wrong with the car?
I recently started having problems with steering in my 1998 Dodge Ram 4X4 Quad Cab. I have a severe vibration in the steering column and a terrible shimmy when I hit a bump or pothole. My mechanic has replaced everything that is loose or worn on the front end, including shocks, u-joints, track bar, stabilizer shock, plus my tires are only a year old, but he can't figure out what is causing this problem.
General comments?
I never had any problems with my truck until about 3 months ago; until then it rode like a Cadillac. Anybody else have this problem? Please contact me at nicolac@insightbb.com.
