1995 Dodge Intrepid ES review from North America
"Comfortable and peppy, but has 0 reliability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission went out right after I purchased car, this was a $1800 repair. Car was great after that, then at about 99,000 miles check engine light is intermittently coming on and mechanic can find no reason for it. This issue has progressed and now it has an issue with overheating, many parts have been replaced to repair overheating problem to no avail. Overheating has finally progressed to the point that problem has been determined to be a leaking head gasket and on this engine it's a major repair.
General comments?
Dodge needs to back up and build some reliability into their cars, they need to warranty the issues. They should explore customer service, customers should not have to deal with a run around over issues that should be fixed by dodge under warranty.
