I have the same problem too. The red circle with an exclamation point keeps on appearing, but I did not change the battery. I already went to the service centre to have it scanned, but the problem is still there. Can you help me?

Check your brakes. It's most probably because of brake fluid being at a low level.

Hi all,
I have Chery QQ. I recently changed the battery, but my battery warning light is on after 5 minutes. My engine malfunction light is also on. I can still start the car. I also notice when I engage gear, some sound is coming when I press the clutch, and the sound remains while driving also.
Can someone please help me?

I have Chery QQ 2008. I am from Pakistan. My car was not used for about a month, and its battery is dead. I can change the battery, but its sensor system does not work, and its windows and remote locking system do not work. If anybody has the same problem or has any info about this, please tell me as soon as possible. The batteries of the remote sensor were changed, but the problem was not solved.

Good day all. I have a Chery QQ and I experienced recently that 1 spark plug was not firing. We changed the spark plug, but it still misfires and there's a strong smell of petrol as well as the spark plug has petrol on it. Please help.

I saw on the internet you had a problem with a Chery automatic Tiptronic gearbox that gets stuck in 2nd gear and not shifting to third.
Have you found out what the problem is? I have one that does the same.
Please advise.

Chery QQ auto gear issue is normally caused by SELESPEED CONTROLLER (AUTOGEAR).

I had the same problem before and changed the camshaft position sensor.
Air con compressor cost ARD $500 to change at a workshop. Go to Auto Dynamac at 3019A Ubi road 1. If you wanna get your own parts and genuine, I suggest freewai.com. Got a camshaft sensor and radiator from them - works well.
My temperature meter used to be high and the air con blows hot air. Never thought it was the radiator, but this is the major cause as coolant is not circulating well due to the radiator clog, causing heat to pile up when the air con is on. Thus the air con is damaged gradually.

Bought a used 2009 QQ 0.8AMT a week ago. Everything works fine except that when in 5th gear, the gearbox will always shift to neutral, and when that happens, there will be a beep sound and the gear warning light will blink. It only happens with 5th gear. Went to an auto transmission workshop and they changed the speed sensor and that solved the problem, but I have a new problem... the car will jerk violently when I lift off the throttle in 3rd and 2nd gear. The battery was disconnected when the speed sensor was replaced, so I guess the gearbox will need to be re-calibrated at the agent to solve the problem, like what someone mentioned. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Chery QQ3, 2009 model.
2 and a half years ago the car struggled to start, and when it did, it had no power, spluttered and jerked. It has had 3 engine overhauls, all sensors replaced, coils replaced, head worked, everything you can think of has been done.
I need help, it starts now, but you can't drive it, it is very rough and the idling is up and down, not even.
Please help.

I own this car. The solution is to recalibrate the transmission timing using the dealer's computer. Comes out every 5,000 km, don't change the speed/velocity sensor because they will just come back again after 5,000 km.

Hi, I have a 2008 Chery QQ 311. I noticed recently that the power windows of 3 doors have stopped working and the windows are permanently up. What do I do about it? Secondly, I noticed that the engine idles at a high rev and fluctuates up and down while the engine is running. What is the cause and what can be done about it to restore it back to normal?

To replace my 0.8 engine with a 1.1 engine, can I use the same gearbox, does it fit to the same mountings and can I just do a straight swap, or is there a lot of stuff to replace? Thanks.

There is a problem with my Chery QQ AMT transmission. Actually, when I want to start the engine, the gearbox is locked in 1st gear and I cannot change it to Neutral. What can I do to resolve it?

Did you manage to find the fault? My Chery QQ won't start and is stuck in second gear. Tried taking out the battery, but still stuck. Help.

Did you managed to solve the issue of the Chery QQ AMT stuck in 1st gear and won't start? Mine is doing the same thing. It was first stuck in reverse, and then removing some fuses and solenoids resulted in it suddenly jumping to 1st and getting stuck there. It however displays "N" on the console.

Hi, I have a Chery QQ 1.1 litre. I'm having problems getting the right clutch plate. All the dealers here in South Africa say the same thing; they don't have stock, so I was wondering which car has clutch plates compatible with the Chery QQ 1.1 litre? Is it Chevrolet or Daewoo? I need to replace it, but I'm scared if I buy then it won't work, plus the splines look the same?

You need to change the velocity something assembly inside the transmission; it's an assembly, but I know a good mechanic overhauled the transmission and fabricated an aluminum ring which solved my problem.

There is a shop here in the Philippines who disassembles the transmission and replaces an aluminum ring, rather than replacing the whole speed selector assembly.
