1998 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Put new battery in shortly after purchase $40.00 at approximately 50,000 miles.
At roughly 55,000 miles the lights for the gear shift indicator on the floor board went out. Still not fixed. Luckily there is still the dash board gear indicator.
Replaced front brake pads and one rotor $100.00 at about 65,000 miles.
Just replaced passenger side brake light bulb $2.11. It was also somewhat melted, but feel freely from the socket.
If using the cigerette lighter and you allow it to "pop out" itself it will completely eject out onto the floorboard!
Find that replacing wiper blades is needed to often.
In this car I also experience some front end vibrations at higher speeds. I have tried several things to remedy this to no avail.
General comments?
This car has some serious power and with proper tires handles like a race car.
The interior is roomy and quite comfortable for its price range.
The interior lighting in this car is excellent with a dome light and lights on the review mirror.
The daytime driving lights are an excellent feature on this car.
However if entering a military base headlamps are supposed to be turn off and that is impossible with this feature.
