2000 Ford Mustang LX Convertible review from North America
"Great summer fun"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bad pinion gear in the rear, causing a humming noise.
Rattles and squeaks - due to being a convertible.
Interior parts broken in dash.
Dash light flicker.
General comments?
I loved the convertible part of this car, and that was the main reason for purchasing it.
It ran well, and did not have a problem with it leaving me stranded.
It was a typical sports car, and rode like one. Not recommended for a daily driver, but on weekends it is great. The top goes down fast, and it runs smoothly on the highway.
The cheaper interior parts squeaked and rattled quite a bit, but can't hear it with the top down.
