1998 Ford Taurus SE review from North America
"So freaking awesome!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There's a whirring sound when we go over 30 miles an hour, particularly when we turn to the right -- we think it's just that the tire needs more air -- we're going to try it, and see.
General comments?
The car is SO comfortable.
It was a transition to go from fighting with the escort to this thing turning and starting on a dime.
I feel very safe.
It isn't a racing car, but it accelerates well.
The gas mileage sucks -- sort of. We drove about 100 miles and we're down to like 3/5 of a tank of gas... but, I'm an environmentalist, so, ideally, it'd be like a hydrogen engine, or something...
