1998 Ford Taurus SE review from North America
"A nightmare"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Dash lights have gone out.
Rear stabilizer links broke at 65,000 miles.
Front tie-rod ends and ball joints replaced at 69,000 miles.
Constant problems with warped rotors.
Door ajar light will not go off, causing interior lights to remain on.
General comments?
After doing quite a bit of research, I decided on a Taurus because of the reliability marks. My question is -- who did these marks? This car has not been the car I expected it to be. I caution anyone thinking to buy one to think twice, as it will be a very costly mistake.
