1991 Geo Metro LSI.convertable review from North America
"Great fun in the sun"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I just picked up the car 1 day before christmas December 24 2002 from Ohio Iwas driveing back to Indianapolis in my new convertable andthe transmission started to slip, so I kept going becauce I checked all the fluids in it 20 min prior to leaveing from buying it, it was 30 miles later I herd a nasty noise!yes the rods were knocking, Ichecked the temp gague and it was 3/4 on the gague so I pulled over and opend the hood and saw transmission fluid comeing from the filler tube and it was pink, Iknew what happened the coolant was mixing with the trans fluid, yuck, i Ichecked the oil and it was full of antifreeze, so I limpped it home on a prair knowing the complete driveline was shot, thank god for haveing 3 parts cars, I got a big winter project to do now, oh well, but its after market trans coolers for now.
