1992 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"Quality--solid, but lacking charisma"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver-side window does not close properly--must be lifted--probably a minor adjustment.
Exhaust needed replacing at 40,000 miles (mechanic said it rusted through because car used for short trips only -- not enough to burn off condensation)
Driver-side trim items have required replacement.
General comments?
Good car; we take care of it and it takes care of us.
Nice sounding purr to this era engine.
Idle rough, but dealers and mechanics say it is within spec.
Backup idle even rougher, again within spec.
Sporty movement.
We're still on original tires (though I use four snows in winter, reducing wear)
No rust (other than the tailpipe replacement) and nice finish durability.
