1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited review from North America
"Good basic vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've replaced the water pump, radiator.
It needed a new exhaust system in order to pass the safety.
Most recently, the harmonic balancer had to be replaced (at 275000 km). The balancer had slipped, causing the belt to be shredded by the fan.
General comments?
Good reliable vehicle, although some unexpected repairs did cramp my budget somewhat. I commute to work about 170 km everyday, so there is a lot of mileage that builds up. I have the oil changed every 5 weeks.
