Talk about a lemon!

I had a lot of problems with this car. I had it for one day when I opened the back door and the outside moulding crushed between the door & the opening. They of course replaced it, but that was two days without my brand new car.

All of the moulding on the inside of the car was replaced several times, the first time they all rewarped, so they were replaced again, but then they were put in backwards, so in again for another try.

The rotors on my car have been replaced 2 times. I fought with the GM customer service for them to be covered as the warranty still was in effect. They told me that they already covered them once, and would not pay again. Luckily the dealer replaced them.

I have been into the dealer several times complaining about rubbing noises in the front end they finally called me with a solution, which of course, did not work, only caused a bad leak in my tire. They claim that this has worked for everyone else. Sure it did!

I have brought my car in many times for bad vibrations when driving high way speeds, they balanced the tires 5 times in one visit, and the problem still is not corrected.

Rad leaked at 50,000 kms.

Rear Stabilizers replaced-1 month after purchased.

Tilt steering broke.

Cam Shaft Sensor cracked.

Doors leaked water.

Most of the problems were fixed by my dealer with no arguments, but the hassle of being there over 45 times in 3 years, and all the mechanics knowing you by name is rather embarrassing. Even they call my car a lemon.

Everyone else that I know that has a GrandAm love it, but mine is definitely not loved.
