1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE 4 Door review from North America
"Average"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not much has gone wrong with the car since I aquired it from my father. The motor mount needed to be replaced for $350.00.
Headlamp switch went out. That repair totaled $400.00.
Air conditioning was non exsistent.
General comments?
This car was pretty mediocre on the performance. I recommend buying the DOHC version of this engine for a little more horsepower. The Quad 4 is a very reliable motor with no problems. Its very loud at high speeds. Overall fuel economy is very solid at 22 city and 32 highway. Transmission shifts smoothly. I would recommend that anyone buying a grand am search for a GT model with the Quad 4 DOHC. The gt has a sportier look and 16 inch alloy wheels. Overall these are solid cars.

| A really great driving machine, wouldn't trade it for the world despite being temperamental. |
