You have to know that I paid $650.00 for this car, so somethings are gonna go out.
The Instrument Cluster Panel is going out. The oil, check gauges, and service engine soon light keep coming off and on because of that.
The radiator went about two weeks after I got it, due to poor preventive maintenance.
The windows are off track on both sides, sometimes they work just fine, then they stop in the middle of going up or down.
Found out after I bought the car that it had been totaled.
Recently the rear wheel cylinders and the rear brake hose went bye bye - easy fix, $30.00 for it all. Plus my dad's a mechanic so that's free.
Great to drive around town.
Very comfortable seats and being 6'1, the interior is very roomy.
Has lots of power from the 3.3 liter V6, which is the only motor I would buy in an older Grand Am.
It has great get up and go. I never have to wait to get on the high way. She flexes her muscles from time to time on the rice burners. I don't like to drive her like that, but sometimes you have to show who's boss.
A great car for the life she's had before I got her.
I agree Grand Am's do have some guts, but you will never beat my rice burner.
