1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE review from North America
"An Indestructible car that has many minor flaws"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Things that have gone wrong, Rad, Water pump, power window (driver side) passenger seat, Rust in the usual 1992 Grand am Places, shocks/struts and muffler (when I moved to Texas the State made me change my muffler) also I had no passenger seat for 3 years after It broke.
General comments?
This car was indestructable... It has hit by 2 drunk drivers and handled the accidents fine... It RAN AND RAN AND RAN.. it ran through the Canadian Winters in Toronto, The Texas Summers in Corpus Christi and still kept chugging.. Through snow deeper then 4 feet and water up to the Doors (even seeping in during some flooding) the car NEVER stalled and kept on going!... If you change the oil in that 3.3 engine the thing won't die... Even on the last week I had the car before I sold it.. I took it out to the beach and Hammered it... The car took off just like it did 6 years previous... GREAT Engine however... The rest of the car leaves something to be desired.. Either way I am on my Second Grand am Now.. 2003 GT we'll see how that goes! If you want a car that will get you from A - B with reliability! the 1992 3.3 engine! Will go forever!
