2000 Volkswagen Beetle GLS review from North America
"All in all, I got my money's worth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My Shock Absorbers gave way at 20,000 miles. Also, while at 20,000 miles I changed my brake rotors and brake pads. There was this day when I lost its repair manual. I felt stupid due to its loss. It may be a small thing compared to the parts mentioned above, but it is as important as those.
General comments?
The car is small, but comfortable. It makes me look young and cool. It's speed is at a satisfactory level. The best part is that its car parts are easy to find. I could buy those at the internet. After loosing the repair manual, I bought one online instead of going to the dealer. Here is the site where I bought the repair manual.
