2002 Kia Sedona EX review from North America
"The best van money can buy with all it has to offer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After less than one week old I had my KIA Sedona XE back to the dealership because I had problems starting it. They informed me that I now need a fuel pump which is under warranty however will take up my time to bring it in for servicing.
General comments?
Other than the fuel filter that is now required I am very pleased with my KIA Sedona XE. Before buying the vehicle I did extensive research since I was not familiar with KIA. Most of the reviews came out on top which made me more encouraged when it came time to purchasing the vehicle. For the money this van has everything you could imagine with a reasonable price tag. As well it has a 5 star rating for safety front and side and a 5 year 100,00 kilometre bumper to bumper warranty at no extra cost. I knew that gas consumption would not be the best however this vehicle weighs in the range of 4,700 lbs. The KIA salesman at 417 KIA in Ottawa, Ontario Canada was a gem. He was true gentlemen who listened to everything I had to say and even came with me to my home to show the van to my wife on a Saturday afternoon. My hat goes off to Dane. I have no regrets so far and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants to drive in class. By the way the extra money I paid for the leather interior, sunroof and rust proofing package was well worth it for me since I will keep this vehicle 5 years. The financing was only 3.9% for 5 years which is well below the banks. Thanks KIA.
