1992 Nissan Sentra XE review from North America
"A very dependable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The fuel pump went out at 70000 miles in which there was a recall, but I failed to bring it back in time.
A relay went out at 8000 that controled several fuctions such as AC and Cruise. It was covered by the warranty.
The clutch was replaced at 90000.
CV joints were replaced at 120000 because the boots began to leak.
The overdrive failed at 200000 but I found out later it was because the wrong lubricant was used.
General comments?
Overall this has been the most reliable car I have owned. It has just over 340000 miles and still runs well.
The performance has been satisfactory and the fuel economy impressive.
The seats and carpet have held up well and are easy to clean.
I am currently considering buying another Sentra from the same timeframe.
