The rotors had to be replaced at 10,000 miles.

The rotors have been replaced altogether three times as well as brake pads.

All tires had to be replaced before it had 36000 miles on it.

The battery died after two years.

The seats creak and the doors have to be oiled on a regular basis because of the squeaking noise when you open them.

Now the worse nightmare the timing belt blew and the whole engine had to be replaced because the head gasket got messed up on it.

The only things good about this car are the radio and alarm. I kind of like the Cd player. The alarm system is pretty good too.

I have a 2000 Daewoo nubira cdx sedan. I've replaced the front brakes three times and just replaced the rotors and back brakes two times. And I have purchased 3 sets of tires and the car only has 42,222 miles. There was a recall for the brake line it was replaced at no charge, and I had the sensor checked. I was told that there was no problem. Just three weeks ago the engine light came on and wouldn't go off. Then there was this burning smell that choked to me death and the car would get really hot immediately. I had the car checked and the diagnostic test showed camshaft z14 whatever that means. I notified the Daewoo manufacturer, and that's how I found out that it was a recall on the camshaft. So I call the daewoo dealer ship where I purchased the car. I told them the problem and they sent a tow truck and carried my car off to their shop. Two hours later I'm called and told that there is no camshaft problem, but that the car had a bad head gasket, needed a timing belt, and tune up for 1,500.00. On top of that I had to pay the towing fee and check up fee because the camshaft was not the problem. So I went over last Tuesday and paid 150.00 and I had to pay 70.00 to have the car towed from their shop to my mechanics shop. Now I'm buying parts one at a time. I've purchased the timing belt tensioner and valve cover gasket for 113.00. I've found a head gasket for 68.00 and a timing belt for 40.00. I'm out 360.00 for a car rental, that I've had since last Tuesday today is Thursday. By the way I can't purchase the other parts until Monday payday because now I'm broke. And no one cares. I will never purchase another product from Daewoo as long as I live. They should've stayed to making electronics and microwaves. I'm mad as hades!!!
