2001 Ford Focus Ghia Hatchback ESP review from Turkey
"The word/ world automobile.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Lumbar support wheel mechanism of the driver's seat is broken. (User fault)
- Original tires need to be replaced.
-I've been told by the service that snow chains cannot be fitted to Focuses as they might possibly damage the ABS sensors on the brake calipers. I wonder if it's true-sounds a bit odd to me..
General comments?
-I'm very pleased with it: It's spacious, engine is refined and operates smoothly and driving ability and handling is keen.
-The fascia is ergonomically designed and is definitely user-friendly.
-Velor upholstery is comfortable and the light gray color adds airiness.
-Audio system is generous in sound quality.
-Exterior design is a pleasure to look at.
- Although equipment level is satisfying, I wish it was equipped with front fog lamps too. My country's roads are full of topographical surface of any kind and it is a must to have fog lamps at night.
