1995 Geo Tracker review from North America
General comments?
Very fun to drive on nice days with the top off, it has spirited handling but rides rather stiffly with little comfort. Not a good choice for long distance driving. The top fits very tightly and is very quiet when compared to other inexpensive soft top vehicles. Off road in 4wd this vehicle is not very capable, lack of suspension compliance and low ground clearance keep it to trails that are in good shape and offer little challenge. The 4wd does work well in snow and ice on the street.
This is not the greatest car ever built by any means, but it's been a lot of fun to own.
Try to look at it as a a funny looking sporty car that is reliable, gets 27mpg, and has some offroad capability. If this appeals to you as it did me, you will be very happy with it.
